How do I know if this service is right for me?

This service is right for those who:

  • have an assortment of notes for a great book, but don't know what to do with them

  • have little time, energy, or interest to finish their book on their own

  • are not writers but want to produce a book that supports their business or leverages their celebrity

  • can’t see what’s needed to revise their ego-satisfying first draft into a reader-resonant manuscript

  • have received a developmental edit (or two, or three, who’s counting?), but are lacking the skills to execute the feedback

How much does ghostwriting cost?

$35,000 USD flat fee, split into flexible monthly payments

I understand this is no small investment, so if this service is not in your budget, I encourage you to consider developmental editing, which offers step-by-step guidance to help you revise your manuscript on your own.

How long does it take?

About 10–14 months, depending on complexity

Will my book be ready to publish after this service?

Pretty much! My unique process was developed to cover all the bases so you can efficiently pitch or publish your book.

How many ghostwriting clients do you take on at once?

Right now, just one at a time! Ghostwriting is intense work, so for the best care of your book (and my own sanity!), my time and energy will be devoted to you alone.

Who owns the rights to my book?

You, you, and only you! I'm called a ghost for a reason.

As a ghostwriter, I’m a literary chameleon, matching your voice, personality, and writing style to help you finally realize your literary dreams with ease, peace, and as little overwhelm as possible (the publishing industry can be a doozy!). Over the course of several in-depth interviews, a deep dive into your existing content (blogs, podcasts, videos, etc.), and my own research, I’ll get to know your voice, your why for writing, your vision of success, and the root of your message or story. I give you the space to sit back, relax, and release your jaw while I do the work of massaging and reworking your idea or first draft. I’ll shepherd you through the writing and revision process and provide you with an easeful path forward in the fast-paced, confusing publishing industry and set your book up for your version of success.

The Process:​

  1. You’ll sign a Nondisclosure Guarantee to protect your intellectual property, and we'll have an initial discovery call to talk all about your book and vision. If we're a good fit, we'll sign a contract.

  2. I’ll interview you, conduct my own research, and collaborate with you to develop a detailed book outline.

  3. I’ll ghostwrite your book chapter by chapter, sharing my questions and prompts as they come up and giving you the opportunity to share your notes via email, video call, or voice memo—whatever method works best for you. We won’t move onto to the next chapter until the previous one is complete and approved to ensure your satisfaction throughout the entire process.

  4. I’ll collaborate with a trusted colleague to complete a line-by-line edit of the ghostwritten manuscript, once again working on one chapter at a time and conferring with you on revisions.

  5. I'll send the edited manuscript to a maximum of three vetted beta readers to get outside feedback, then you and I will revise as necessary.

  6. Finally, I'll work with an outside copy editor to polish the manuscript and ensure it's ready for submission to agents and publishers or self-publishing.

 

If desired, you can add on an industry-standard book proposal for an additional $10,000.
