FAQs
1
How do I know if this service is right for me?
This service is right for those who:
-
have a book idea and eventually want to traditionally publish
-
have a completed, professionally edited manuscript that's ready for submission
-
are in contact with an agent or acqs editor who has requested a book proposal
2
How much does it cost for you to write my book proposal?
$15,000 USD flat fee, split into flexible monthly payments
3
How long does it take?
About 3–6 months, depending on complexity
4
If you write my proposal, do I need to hire you to ghostwrite my book?
Nope! But you'll likely want to, considering how intimately I will know your book and goals.
5
Will you help me pitch my book proposal to agents and publishers?
No, sorry. My work as a ghostwriter begins and ends with the development of the book. I will, however, point you in the direction of agents and publishers who work on books in your genre.
Very rarely can you pitch your book to agents and publishers by sending them a quick email query or sharing your completed manuscript. The book business loves to get as close to a sure thing as it can before investing in a project, and a book proposal is one of the ways it does this. In a nutshell, the nonfiction book proposal is a sales document, sharing the ins and outs of who you are, what your book is about, why it's important for this moment in time, and how you plan to market it.
How It Works:
1. We'll hop on a free 30-minute discovery call to talk all about your book and your marketing plans. If we're a good fit, we'll sign a contract.

2. I'll interview you, take a look at your existing writing, conduct some research, then create a detailed book outline for you to review and approve.

3. I'll ghostwrite and line edit your proposal's three sample chapters one at a time, sending them to you for your review as they are completed.

4. Once the chapters are complete, I'll develop the rest of the proposal, checking in periodically for your input and approval. The proposal I craft for you will include:
-
An overview of your book
-
Author bio
-
Your marketing & promotion plan
-
Competition titles
-
Annotated chapter outline
5. Finally, I'll send you on your way with a list of agents and a sample query letter you can use to pitch your book with confidence.
